The Opportunity

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and high-impact Managing Director to spearhead our expansion into the APAC region. This is a foundational role where you will be responsible for the legal, operational, and commercial establishment of our Singapore office. Building on an already impressive customer portfolio, you will focus on strengthening Marketing, Sales, Support, and Services capabilities across the region.

You will act as the "General Manager of Asia," taking full P&L ownership, collaborating closely with our Belgian HQ and expanding a high-performing regional team to drive sustainable growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term value across the continent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Leadership & Strategy:
    Develop and execute the long-term regional roadmap in close collaboration with HQ. Ensure the Asia strategy aligns with global objectives while remaining culturally, commercially, and operationally relevant to local markets.
  • Full P&L Ownership:
    Manage the regional budget, resource allocation, and financial forecasting. You are responsible for the overall health, profitability, and scalability of the APAC business.
  • Office & Operational Leadership:
    Oversee and continuously improve local operations, compliance, and workflows, ensuring the Singapore hub effectively supports commercial activities as well as customer support and service delivery.
  • Team Building (Recruitment & Leadership):
    Attract, hire, and mentor a growing Asia team across Sales, Marketing, Support, and Services. You will further shape the culture of the Singapore hub while building on existing foundations.
  • Commercial Growth & Customer Expansion:
    Lead strategic sales efforts, key account management, and regional partnerships. You will continue to grow and deepen an existing customer portfolio while expanding the pipeline through a localized marketing and go-to-market engine.
  • Customer Support & Services Enablement:
    Ensure high-quality support and service delivery across the region, working closely with global teams to drive customer success, retention, and long-term partnerships.
  • Cross-Continental Collaboration:
    Act as the primary bridge between the Singapore office and HQ, ensuring seamless communication, strong execution, and continuous product–market fit for the Asian territory.

The Ideal Profile

  • The “Player-Coach” Mentality:
    You are a strategic thinker who can design a multi-year regional plan, while remaining hands-on when needed — whether that’s joining a key customer meeting, supporting a team member, or resolving operational challenges.
  • Commercial & Customer-Centric DNA:
    Proven track record in Sales, Business Development, and customer relationship management within the APAC region. You know how to grow accounts and build trust across diverse cultural contexts.
  • Recruitment & Leadership Experience:
    Experience identifying top-tier talent and building high-performing teams in competitive markets such as Singapore.
  • Operational Excellence:
    You have navigated P&L management and understand the mechanics of scaling a regional business unit that combines commercial success with strong service delivery.
  • Communication:
    Exceptional English skills (and ideally a local language), with the ability to influence stakeholders at both executive and operational levels.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience within a Software/SaaS company

  • Prior experience within the Cybersecurity and/or Mobile App Security industry
