The Campus Experience team enables a welcoming, seamless, and engaging campus environment for TD colleagues and visitors. The team supports campus amenities, events, and shared workplace services, partnering with internal stakeholders and service providers to deliver consistent experiences aligned to TD standards.

Job Description

The Manager, Workplace Experience Strategy is an individual contributor role responsible for shaping the strategy and framework for experience and activations delivered directly into TD work floors. This role looks holistically at how programming, amenities, and engagement activities show up across floors and develops guidance, standards, and activation models that can be consistently and effectively executed by delivery teams.

The role operates with a strategic lens – defining what experiences should exist at the work floor level and why – while enabling delivery partners to own how those experiences are executed.

Key Accountabilities

Work floor Activation Strategy

  • Define a work floor activation strategy that embeds events and experiences into everyday work environments

  • Establish principles and activation models for different work floor contexts (e.g., collaboration‑heavy floors, focus floors, client‑adjacent spaces)

  • Identify where events and activations can meaningfully support connection, inclusion, well‑being, and business outcomes at the floor level

  • Translate enterprise and campus experience priorities into scalable, floor‑based activation approaches

Activation Design & Enablement

  • Design repeatable activation playbooks, toolkits, and standards to guide consistent delivery across work floors

  • Define activation types (e.g., micro‑events, pop‑ups, rotating programming, cultural moments) appropriate to different floor environments

  • Partner with the larger Campus Experience team, Wellness, and other enterprise teams to ensure activations are cohesive, feasible, and aligned

  • Enable delivery teams with clear guidance, guardrails, and success criteria rather than direct execution

Insight, Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of work floor experience activations using participation data, feedback, and utilization insights

  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve engagement and experience at the floor level

  • Develop recommendations to evolve strategies based on observed outcomes and colleague needs. Connect with enterprise teams responsible for creating experiential environments, include hospitality, HR, technology.

  • Support the establishment of metrics that measure the impact of activations on connection and engagement

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence

  • Collaborate with the Campus Experience team to align activation planning with operational realities

  • Partner with Campus leadership, Facilities, Real Estate, and other stakeholders to ensure activation strategies work within space and risk constraints

  • Act as a strategic advisor to Experience team on where and how to deploy events and activations most effectively

Standards, Governance & Risk Awareness

  • Support the development of activation‑related standards, guidelines, and approval frameworks

  • Apply sound judgment to balance creativity, inclusion, safety, and operational feasibility

  • Identify and escalate risks or inconsistencies related to activation delivery across work floors

Strategic Evolution

  • Research and identify emerging trends in workplace programming and experiential engagement and assess applicability to TD work floors

  • Test new activation concepts through pilots in partnership with delivery teams and scale successful approaches

  • Champion a consistent, experience‑led approach to work floor engagement across the campus

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years experience in experience design, events strategy, workplace programming, engagement strategy, or service design

  • Demonstrated experience operating as a strategic individual contributor in a complex, matrixed organization

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong ability to design experiences at a system level

  • Demonstrated strength in translating strategy into actionable frameworks

  • High degree of stakeholder influence without authority

  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
