POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for improving how customers move through Newrez’s digital experiences, from high-intent points (such as cloud pages) through form entry.

The Web Journey Optimization Manager identifies and leads opportunities to clarify, align and optimize intent-driven journeys across web experiences. The focus is on creating clear, consistent paths from acquisition to action, ensuring journeys support both conversion performance and discoverability through organic and paid channels.

This role plays a central part in connecting acquisition strategy, on-site experience, integrated SEO strategy, and measurement, while partnering closely with the SEO, Paid Search, Email, Product, UX and Analytics teams.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Own optimization or priority web journeys, including cloud pages, product pages, and entry points info form flow.
  • Identify friction, drop-off, and intent mismatches across journeys and translate them into prioritized opportunities.
  • Improve alignment between primary acquisition channels (Paid Search, Email, Organic/Website) and on-site experiences to strengthen message match and conversion.
  • Partner with Product and UX teams to evolve form entry experiences over time.
  • Implement an integrated SEO strategy in partnership with the SEO team to ensure web journeys support organic discovery and clear intent signaling.
  • Help align page structure, content hierarchy, and internal linking to support both rankings and conversion goals.
  • Balance on-site optimization efforts to avoid trade-offs between traffic quality and conversion performance.
  • Drive a mobile-first mindset across owned web experiences, with a focus on clarity, usability and speed.
  • Work with UX/UI to ensure layouts, content structure, and interactions reflect real customer behavior.
  • Surface mobile-specific insights that impact engagement and conversion.
  • Lead structured optimization efforts across journeys, including iterative improvements and targeted testing where appropriate.
  • Define hypotheses, success metrics, and learning goals prior to changes.
  • Balance near-term improvements with foundational journey enhancements.
  • Use analytics, behavioral data, and qualitative insights to inform decisions and prioritization.
  • Partner with Analytics to ensure journey performance, key actions, and attribution continuity are measured accurately.
  • Help surface tracking and attribution gaps that impact understanding of customer behavior across journeys.
  • Work closely with UX/UI, Product, Development, Analytics, SEO, Paid teams and partners.
  • Act as a bridge between marketing intent, search strategy, and on-site execution.
  • Communicate plans, progress, and learnings clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in CRO, web optimization, digital experience, or growth focused roles.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Proven track record of running and implementing website A/B testing and experimentations.
  • Hands on experience improving conversion-focused pages and form-based journeys.
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals as they relate to on-page experience and intent.
  • Strong understanding of mobile-first UX/UI and customer behavior.
  • Comfortable working with analytics, experimentation frameworks, and insight tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytics platforms.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.

A good faith estimate of the compensation is:

90,200.00 - 158,040.00

Compensation for this position may also include other elements, including medical, financial, various paid time off benefits, and a bonus based on individual and company performance, variable or annual.

 

Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, location, etc.
