Job Summary:

The Manager of Geisinger Ventures leads day‑to‑day operations and execution of venture, commercialization, and co‑development activities. The role partners with the VP of Ventures to evaluate new opportunities, advance IP assets, manage partnerships, and support the development of scalable solutions that create strategic and financial value for the organization. The Manager ensures disciplined operational processes, strong cross‑functional coordination, and clear communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Job Duties:

  • Drives operational execution of Geisinger Ventures initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategy and performance goals.
  • Develops and manages workplans, timelines, processes, and metrics for venture and commercialization programs.
  • Supports diligence and evaluation of new venture concepts, IP assets, partnerships, and commercialization opportunities.
  • Leads operational management of co‑development initiatives with internal teams, startups, and industry partners.
  • Supports evaluation and structuring of co‑development agreements, including roles, responsibilities, contribution models, and governance.
  • Manages the internal IP intake and assessment process, ensuring disclosures are captured, prioritized, and advanced based on strategic and market considerations.
  • Partners with inventors, Legal, Finance, and Technology Transfer to assess patentability, market potential, and fit within the Ventures portfolio.
  • Serves as liaison to clinical leaders, service lines, corporate collaborators, startups, and investors.
  • Facilitates cross‑functional alignment and communication to ensure efficient execution of venture activities.
  • Contributes to building organizational capabilities in innovation, commercialization, and venture strategy.
  • Supports financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring for assigned areas.
  • Tracks program metrics and operational performance, prepares updates and reports for leadership.
