Manager, Underwriting

Hong Kong Full time

Position Responsibilities:

- Support daily operations, ensuring satisfactory services to advisors within agreed turnaround time

- Underwrite large amount and complex application and review suggest cases

- Ensure underwriting standards as per Audit Guidelines while meeting pricing assumptions of mortality and morbidity

- Streamline and enhance workflow and processes to ensure operational efficiency 

- Participate in product development and lead implementation from Underwriting when required

Required Qualifications:

- Degree or equivalent business qualifications

- LOMA qualification preferred

- Over 6 years of relevant experience in life underwriting

- Excellent underwriting competency

- Excellent leadership and team building skills

- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

- Strong analytical mind and problem solving skills, with innovation and a customer-care focus

- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
