What is the opportunity?

The Manager, Supplier Management, FIS Total Issuing Solutions (Supplier formerly known as TSYS), is responsible for supporting the global supplier relationship management for FIS Total Issuing Solutions (TSYS) on behalf of RBC’s Credit Card Businesses in Canada, the US & the Caribbean. This includes performance monitoring, relationship management, change management, and process optimization to ensure that the Supplier meets all RBC, Regulatory and Industry operational risk requirements, with the objective of maximizing value for RBC, supporting partners with usage of the Supplier’s products and services, and ensuring adherence to RBC’s Supplier Management and Third Party Risk frameworks.

Please note this is a fully in-office role.

The role is based in Toronto at Waterpark Place, however we would consider qualified applicants able to work fully in office from our existing Montreal location (1 Place Ville Marie).

What will you do?

  • Support the Supplier Management for RBC’s Global relationship with FIS Total Issuing Solutions (TSYS) including but not limited to:
    • Providing oversight and ensuring the Supplier adheres to policies, processes, compliance requirements and controls, including monthly SLAs
    • Manage initiatives and activities related to assigned services or applications, including preparation for regular meetings with the Supplier and providing updates as required to partners
    • Providing SME support for partner inquiries, including leading / contributing to impact assessments related to changes to assigned services or applications
    • Supporting the monthly invoice review process, including ensuring accuracy of invoicing for assigned services or applications
    • Managing partner inquiries through our team’s generic inbox, including system application access approval requests and supporting annual user access attestation processes
    • Providing SME and administrative support for Senior Supplier Managers or LOB / other partners for the completion of Audit and risk management processes and inquiries including SRMA, SOC1 and SOX reviews for assigned services or applications
    • Prepare and publish dashboards and reports
  • Identify and champion opportunities for the improvement of business performance, technical capabilities and/or operational efficiencies or cost reduction opportunities between RBC and the Supplier
  • Effectively manage and where needed escalate key issues between the two organizations
  • Build Relationships & Improve Communications between key RBC Business Areas and Operational teams with the Supplier
  • Collaborate with stakeholder partners to successfully implement and optimize supplier service utilization
  • Manage supplier communications including new opportunities, escalations to/from all stakeholders

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • Previous Supplier Management experience and experience working with Third Party Suppliers
  • Knowledge of FIS Total Issuing Solutions (TSYS) systems, including TS2, CCSA (TCS), TLP, DDS, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with RBC Risk practices management (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong Operational mindset
  • Knowledge of RBC Card Products (or equivalent industry experience with Credit Card products)
  • Strong oral and written communication, and relationship building capabilities

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of and experience with RBC Systems that interact with TS2 and other FIS Total Issuing Solutions (TSYS) applications
  • Experience with RBC Operations Teams that support the Credit Card Business such as Fraud, Advice Centre, Operations Cards Support teams, or Collections
  • Knowledge of the Credit Card Industry
  • Experience working RBC Bank or RBC Caribbean
