Overview
The Global Business Solutions Center (GBSC) is Mastercard’s strategic partner for delivering scalable, high-quality business operations. With over 1,100 professionals supporting more than 200 solutions across 10 locations, GBSC enables business efficiency, productivity, and growth through operational excellence and innovation.
As Manager, Transaction Services – Procure-to-Pay, you will lead a team delivering end-to-end P2P services, including requisitioning, purchase order management, invoicing, and payments. The role combines people leadership, operational oversight, and stakeholder partnership to ensure efficient, compliant, and customer-centric service delivery across Mastercard business units.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Procure-to-Pay professionals, setting clear expectations and driving a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and address performance gaps where required.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Build and sustain strong, trusted relationships with global stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality P2P services.
- Partner closely with M&A COE, Finance Business Partners, Controllership, internal leadership, and external partners to align priorities, manage risks, and support business growth.
- Ensure clear, timely communication with stakeholders and senior management on service performance, issues, and improvements.
- Drive effective issue resolution and escalation management to maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
Procure-to-Pay Operations
- Support Mastercard M&A onboarding by overseeing supplier onboarding, requisition and PO creation and maintenance, invoice compliance review, and payment tracking.
- Define, monitor, and drive performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) at team and individual levels.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for service enhancement and efficiency.
- Drive automation and process optimisation initiatives to improve effectiveness, scalability, and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and other internal control requirements, maintaining documentation and audit readiness.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of Procure-to-Pay experience within a global organisation.
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
- Experience in shared services or internal service delivery environments preferred.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle Financials, including the Purchasing module.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Solid foundation in accounting and finance principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot).
- Demonstrated continuous improvement and automation mindset.
