PitchBook’s Manager,Training leads the facilitation and delivery of high‑impact learning experiences for PitchBook’s Sales and Customer Success teams. This role is responsible for managing a team of facilitators, ensuring delivery excellence across onboarding and ongoing enablement, and personally facilitating and co-facilitating alongside the team, conducting training in both in‑person and virtual formats. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader and master facilitator who brings operational discipline to training delivery while creating engaging, adult‑learning‑centered experiences that support on‑the‑job performance.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with PB Learning leadership and business stakeholders to lead training initiatives for new hires and the ramping and upskilling of our Commercial teams
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Sales & Customer Success facilitators, fostering high standards for facilitation quality and learner engagement
- Own facilitator capacity planning and coverage decisions, proactively balancing training demand, facilitator readiness, and learner experience across regions and programs
- Personally facilitate approximately 50% of assigned training, including onboarding, ramping, and upskilling in both virtual and in‑person formats
- Partner with program managers to develop and maintain a training calendar, ensuring timely delivery of programs for new hires, upskilling, and ongoing development
- Partner with HR Operations to manage training delivery operations, including maintaining the facilitation roster, and assignment of facilitators to sessions
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Enablement and Revenue Operations on shared training initiatives to ensure Sales and Customer Success professionals are well equipped to do their jobs
- Provide input and facilitation expertise as a contributor to development of Sales and Customer Success training materials geared for adult learning and effective group facilitation
- Ensure facilitator readiness through session preparation, observation, feedback, and ongoing coaching to increase individual and team performance
- Establish and track facilitation excellence KPIs and monitor delivery consistency and learner experience across facilitators, geographies, and modalities
- Collaborate with content owners and program partners to ensure facilitators are prepared to deliver uptodate, accurate learning experiences
- Travel to PitchBook offices as needed to facilitate training sessions, observe facilitation, and support facilitator development
- Work on supplemental training initiatives as driven by business or market imperatives
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in curriculum development, business, psychology, communications or related field
- 5+ years of combined work experience in Learning and Development, preferably in the Sales and/or Customer Success, and Sales Enablement domains
- 2+ year experience managing or leading training teams
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse learner audiences in virtual and in‑person settings and experience with adult learning techniques
- Operational experience coordinating training schedules, calendars, and delivery logistics
- A demonstrated drive for results and an ownership mentality
- Strong execution skills for multi-functional and cross-organizational assignments and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
- Experience engaging with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation
- Annual base salary: $140,000-$160,000
- Target annual bonus percentage: 15%

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
