In this role, you will own the global ESG data collection processes across all reporting cycles and ensure consistent application of definitions, timelines, and requirements. You ensure high quality, timely quantitative data for CSRD/ESRS disclosures, internal C-level management reporting, and external stakeholders, working closely with interface functions in an international environment. As Manager Sustainability Data & Analytics, Reporting, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of ESG reporting by identifying opportunities for simplification, harmonization, and standardization of processes while supporting sustainability related projects with data and analytics guiding the translation into business processes.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your tasks:

  • Own and operate the global ESG data collection process, including communication of timelines, instructions, and templates, while ensuring correct use of data definitions and full submission coverage.

  • Consolidate and validate all incoming data to prepare final quantitative data packages for mandatory (CSRD/ESRS, ICS) as well as internal management reporting requirements.

  • Provide accurate and reliable quantitative inputs for external ratings and assessments (e.g., EcoVadis, S&P CSA, CDP) and coordinate related evidence submissions.

  • Drive process excellence by identifying opportunities for simplification, harmonization, and standardization across ESG reporting activities.

  • Maintain and update procedural documentation, guidance materials, and process descriptions to ensure consistent and compliant reporting practices.

  • Support in developing and improving the sustainability report and the associated qualitative and quantitative information to meet the requirements of CSRD reporting and the audit.

  • Act as interface and project support for Sustainability & HSE projects, providing data and analytics, while guiding the transition of projects results into business processes.

Your qualifications:

  • Successfully completed University degree in Sustainability Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Data/Information Management, or a related field.

  • 2–4+ years of professional experience in ESG data collection, reporting, or coordination in a corporate, international environment.

  • Practical experience with core sustainability KPIs such as energy consumption, emissions, and health & safety metrics.

  • Strong organizational skills combined with clear and structured communication skills, strong stakeholder coordination capabilities and the ability to handle large data volumes with high accuracy.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with BI or analytics tools is a plus.

  • Solid spoken and written German and English; additional language skills are an advantage.
