About the Role:
As the Manager, Software Quality Assurance, you will manage a team of QA professionals, ensuring the thorough testing and overall quality of our software products. This role involves designing test strategies, overseeing the execution of test plans, and fostering a culture of quality across the department. Your contributions will play a vital role in delivering robust and reliable software to our customers.


Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead a team of QA professionals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies.
• Oversee the execution of automated and manual testing.
• Ensure the timely identification and resolution of defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
• Define and monitor quality metrics and key performance indicators.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide career development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes.
• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.

Skills:
• Test Strategy Development: Ability to design and implement effective test strategies.
• Team Leadership: Proficiency in managing and leading a team.
• Quality Metrics: Knowledge of defining and monitoring quality metrics.
• Automation Frameworks: Experience with setting up and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Project Management: Basic project management skills for handling multiple testing projects.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze test results and make data-driven decisions.
• Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements.
 

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field of study, or 10 years of experience in QA/Development required.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and TOOLS

Experience:

• 5+ years of QA testing for desktop applications, preferred.

• 2+ years of leading staff, preferred.

• 1+ years of experience working off-shore teams, preferred.

Knowledge:

• Agile development practices,

• Automation testing with Selenium, preferred

•Bilingulal in French preferred
