Manager, Software Engineering – SAP Application Security (S/4 / Fiori Authorization)

Role Overview
As a SAP Application Security Manager, you will be responsible for handling SAP Authorization and user administration’s, ensuring the SAP application are complaint, secured and monitored. You will interact closely with cross functional and technical team members in understanding the security requirements and delivery them adherence to SOX compliance meeting the standards. In addition, role involves both creative and analytical skills to provide solutions. You should be ready to work independently as well as in a team.
What will you do in this role
Design and manage SAP Application Security roles and authorizations across ABAP, S/4 HANA-Fiori, BW and HANA DB areas.
Collaborate with Functional/Business team in understanding the security scope and implement the security changes adherence to SOX/SOD compliance.
Perform Security Role Impact assessment in roles during the SP upgrades, ECC to S/4 Conversions.
Handle the SU24 updates during the upgrades or regular role maintenance phases.
Troubleshoot authorization issues and provide solution across any areas of SAP functional modules( FBM, STS, SCM and OTC) and technical areas.
Support the Cutover, Go-Live and Hypercare timelines.
Handle and support NON-PRD refresh from security standpoint across R/3 and HANA DB.
Handle GRC Ruleset creation and updates collaborating with the compliance team
Responsible for supporting any user admin requests, role admin and compliance on day to day basis.
What should you have
3-7 years of experience in SAP Security & Authorizations (R/3 ABAP, S/4HANA_Fiori authorization, Hana DB and GRC)
Knowledge of SU24/SU22 maintenance and customizing authorization checks for Z/Y transaction
Hands on experience in handling Fiori authorization in SAP Security Space (Catalog, Pages & Spaces, Work zone), should have worked minimum 2 projects on ECC to S/4 HANA conversion or S/4 HANA implementation handling Fiori Areas.
3-7 years of hands-on experience in configuration and Support GRC Access Control modules (ARA, ARM, EAM and UAR-User Access Review)
Strong understanding and manage SAP SoD rulesets
Hands on experience in handling GRC EAM/Fire Fighter accounts creation and maintenance.
Good understanding and hands on in handling SAP authorization objects, roles (single, composite, derived), and profile generations.
Hands on Experience in handling Role Creation/Updates in R/3, BW, BPC Security areas (ECC, BW, ATTP, GBT, GTS,SOLMAN, S/4 HANA-MDG, PLM).
Hands on Mass Role Creations and role updates.
Ability to understand business requirements from business / functional users.
Hands on experience in supporting UT, AT test phases, perform cutover activities & post go-live hyper care support.
Strong knowledge on the Critical authorization, SOX compliance, audit requirements.
Understanding on SAP User Licensing / FUE .
Nice to Haves
Exposure to IT Service Management Tools(ServiceNow/Remedy), Demand Management Tools (Jira) and collaboration tools (Confluence, MS Teams) is preferred.
Good Communication skills and collaboration with Functional, Technical and business users.
Knowledge on how various ERP modules connected within SAP
Adaptable mindset in enhancing skills on new areas (SAP Cloud areas)
