Role Overview
The Manager, Social, PR, Influencers, Content & Community is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day execution, coordination, and optimization of AIR MILES’ social media presence, influencer initiatives, PR programs, content planning, and online community management. This role leads a team of specialists and agency partners to ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality content, meaningful collector engagement, and strong brand reputation across all digital and earned channels.
This manager supports the development of channel strategies and plays a key role in bringing campaign plans to life, ensuring alignment with brand goals and marketing priorities. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader, a collaborative partner, and a hands‑on operator who can balance planning, execution oversight, and team development.
Responsibilities:
Social Media & Community Management
Oversee the content calendar, content creation, content review, and daily operations across AIR MILES’ social channels
Ensure content is aligned to brand standards, campaign requirements, and audience needs.
Monitor social engagement, responses, and community dynamics to ensure timely, brand‑appropriate interactions.
Guide reporting on social performance and surface insights to senior leaders.
Brand Reputation & Social Listening
Oversee social listening processes, ensuring the team tracks sentiment, emerging conversations, and potential risks.
Surface insights, opportunities, and escalations to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Support community responses, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
Influencer Partnerships
Manage the execution of influencer campaigns, including briefing, content approvals, timelines, and partner coordination.
Work with specialists and agencies to identify creators, review content, and track deliverables.
Ensure influencer work aligns with campaign goals, brand guidelines, and performance metrics.
Public Relations Coordination
Support the execution of PR initiatives for B2B and B2C audiences.
Partner with PR specialists and agencies on drafting, distributing, and tracking earned media assets.
Review media coverage reports and escalate important trends or risks as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the point of coordination between the Brand team, Marketing, Product, Legal, CRM, and external agency partners.
Ensure team activities ladder up to wider marketing plans and brand initiatives.
Measurement & Reporting
Oversee weekly and monthly reporting for social, content, PR, and influencer activities.
Ensure the team delivers actionable insights and recommendations to support optimization.
7+ years in social media, influencer marketing, PR, or digital content; 3+ years leading teams.
Hands-on experience managing multi‑channel social content, community engagement, and creator partnerships.
Strong understanding of social listening, analytics, and performance reporting.
Skilled at managing agencies, multiple stakeholders, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Excellent communication, project management, and organizational abilities.
Ability to balance strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.

SalariedThe above represents AIR MILES’ pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents AIR MILES’ expected target for the first year in this position.
AIR MILES’ total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
