The Manager, Schedule Planning will spearhead the maintenance of Breeze’s selling schedule and its distribution (both internally and externally). You must be data-driven and have excellent logic, critical thinking, and analytical skills to be effective in this position. Additionally, the manager must have impeccable communication & organizational skills, as he/she will collaborate heavily with internal and external stakeholders when working with the flight schedule, and then must manage the timely distribution of the schedule to all necessary parties.

Here's what you'll do

  • Oversee the selling schedule by maintaining its integrity and adjusting when necessary
  • Analyze improvements to the selling schedule to maximize revenue and profits, plus facilitate solutions to operational challenges
  • Coordinate with Planning leadership to ensure schedule is consistent with strategic growth plans
  • Work closely with the operational departments to ensure the schedule meets goals of the airline; track any patterns of issues and recommend changes when necessary
  • Communicate with external parties (airports, service providers, etc.) to ensure that they have the latest schedules for Breeze and to work through any potential issues
  • Build and maintain processes and workflows to constantly improve the scheduling process
  • Monitor & evaluate industry trends in scheduling, both at individual airports and specific route timings, to advise the team and company leadership of the competitive landscape
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence

Here's what you'll need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in a Scheduling role at a commercial airline
  • Previous experience with airline flight scheduling systems (Zulu, Sabre Schedule Manager, OASIS, etc.)
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
  • Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modeling in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • IATA slot coordination experience
