We are seeking the expertise of a Manager Sanctions Escalations, Financial Crime Compliance to join our Sanctions Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, FCC Sanctions Compliance, you, and your team plays a crucial role in ensuring CBA or its subsidiaries complies to both internal and regulatory obligations on sanctions matters.
On any given day you will:
Help to implement and continually improve the Group’s Sanctions Program.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement with respect to the Sanctions and FCC screening programs.
Identify risks, trends and any potential control weaknesses with regards to Sanctions.
Support effective relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, businesses and countries.
Manage the sanctions referrals from the Financial Crime Operations and Trade Finance teams end to end.
Monitor and identify key issues (and potential issues) in the Sanctions landscape.
Provide statistics, analysis and commentary for Sanctions reports as required.

Experience and demonstrating managing financial crime compliance risks (particularly Sanctions).
Proven Communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Effective team resource utilisation to ensure service level agreements are met.
Interest in innovation and driving progress in managing financial crime risk with the use of AI technology.
Tertiary qualification in a related discipline is preferred.
