Revenue Operations plays a critical role in ensuring financial success by improving the platforms, operations, and systems supporting our go-to-market teams. This team partners with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to deliver scalable and efficient processes across the customer lifecycle, from lead generation to revenue recognition. Revenue Operations is essential to achieving our company’s revenue and operational goals.
The Manager, Salesforce Administration is responsible for building and leading the Salesforce Administration function within PitchBook’s Mumbai Revenue Operations team. This is a foundational role that combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, as the successful candidate will both hire and develop a team of Salesforce administrators and contribute directly to platform work during the build-out phase. Operating as an extension of the US-based RevOps organization, this role executes on CRM priorities set by global leadership while maintaining alignment with US and EMEA counterparts on platform standards, governance, and release processes.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the Salesforce Administration team in Mumbai, hiring and onboarding administrators, establishing team norms, and creating a scalable operating model aligned to global RevOps standards.
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader during the build-out phase, contributing directly to Salesforce configuration, troubleshooting, and release management alongside your growing team.
- Execute on CRM priorities and platform work defined in partnership with the US-based Salesforce Administration team, ensuring the Mumbai team delivers work that meets global quality and governance standards.
- Manage day-to-day Salesforce administration including object configuration, workflow and automation management, user provisioning, permission sets, and data quality maintenance.
- Coordinate closely with US and EMEA Salesforce counterparts to align on platform releases, sandbox management, deployment processes, and shared best practices.
- Maintain platform documentation including configuration guides, data dictionaries, and change logs, ensuring the Mumbai team’s work is transparent and auditable by global stakeholders.
- Partner with the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations to identify opportunities to expand the Mumbai team’s scope and capabilities as the function matures.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 7+ years of Salesforce Administration experience in a B2B SaaS or technology environment, with at least 1-2 years in a people management or team lead capacity.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required; Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Sales Cloud certifications strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build or scale a team, including experience hiring, onboarding, and developing Salesforce administrators.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture including objects, flows, validation rules, permission sets, profiles, and release management best practices.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily.
Working Conditions
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. This role is expected to be in office 5 days per week. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
