Job Description:

We are seeking a high impact Manager, Sales Performance & Engagement to help shape how our Client Solutions Centre drives results through motivated, engaged, and high performing sales teams. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, performance strategy, and employee engagement, supporting a frontline telephone sales organization of 100+ consultants selling wealth and insurance solutions.

This is an ideal role for someone who brings strong analytical capability, natural curiosity, and a passion for translating insight into action—while also caring deeply about how performance programs motivate and engage people. You will play a visible role in influencing both business outcomes and the day-to-day experience of our sales teams in a fast-paced environment, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and performance strategy.

This role offers strong visibility and meaningful career growth opportunities within the Client Solutions Centre and the broader organization. You will gain exposure to senior leadership, enterprise-level performance strategy, and large-scale sales operations.

Successful candidates may progress into broader leadership roles across sales strategy, performance optimization, workforce management, or people leadership. The role provides a strong foundation to build advanced skills in analytics, innovation, stakeholder leadership, and sales performance management, with the opportunity to further deepen analytical and decision-support capabilities.

What will you do?

Drive Sales Performance & Analytics

  • Analyze sales, campaign, and contest performance to generate insights, identify trends, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

  • Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence sales results and OKR delivery.

  • Validate and pressure test phone channel targets through structured analysis and scenario testing to support effective top-down goal setting and frontline execution.

  • Measure effectiveness and ROI of performance, recognition, and engagement programs to ensure alignment to business priorities.

  • Develop and maintain performance tracking materials used in leadership discussions and decision-making.

Design & Lead Performance and Engagement Programs

  • Design, test, and optimize short cycle, test-and-learn campaign and performance initiatives using clearly defined success metrics.

  • Lead recognition, reward, and engagement (R&R) programs that directly support sales performance and desired behaviours.

  • Oversee sales contests, campaign measurement, and performance tracking, ensuring analytical rigor and data integrity.

  • Plan and support premium recognition initiatives such as Platinum Performer programs.

  • Lead sales engagement events, forums, and initiatives that energize and motivate a large frontline sales population.

Champion Employee Engagement

  • Drive action plans based on employee engagement survey results, partnering with leaders to improve consultant experience and sentiment.

  • Bring creativity, empathy, and strong communication skills to how engagement and recognition programs are delivered to the front line, supported by insight-driven analysis.

People & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Partner closely with Sales Leaders, Performance Optimization, and cross-functional teams to launch new initiatives and operationalize successful pilots.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and prioritization support to an Engagement Specialist.

  • Manage the reward and recognition budget, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and controls across all programs.

  • Balance multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on execution, impact, and delivery.

  • Review and challenge analytical outputs to ensure accuracy, clarity, and insight quality.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Strong analytical capability with Excel proficiency, including the ability to build and review performance models, conduct scenario analysis, and interpret complex datasets to support decision-making.

  • Experience using analytical tools and systems such as Excel, Salesforce, and Tableau to support performance reporting, insights, and storytelling.

  • Natural curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, with comfort operating in a test-and-learn environment.

  • Experience designing, managing, or supporting sales performance, recognition, or engagement programs in a results-driven setting.

  • A genuine interest in motivating and engaging large, frontline sales teams, ideally within a fast-paced or phone-based sales environment.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to partner with senior leaders and articulate data-backed recommendations.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining focus on priorities and outcomes.

  • People leadership experience, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style.

  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
