Global Sales & Services Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales & services leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.
About the Role:
The Manager Data Analytics role is part of the Sales & Services Reporting & Automation team that stands at the forefront of developing cutting-edge automated data solutions for Gartner’s Global Sales and Services Delivery teams. What You Will do:
Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders by effectively communicating Analytics Automation’s strategies and priorities. Ensure alignment and understanding across all levels of the organization, facilitating seamless collaboration.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate strategic needs into actionable automated data insights. Drive informed decision-making across the organization by providing data-driven recommendations and solutions.
Lead the development and maintenance of high-impact dashboards with a primary focus on Power BI and CRM Analytics (CRMA) to provide actionable insights.
Initiative Leadership: Spearhead and champion automation initiatives aimed at streamlining data processes. Enhance business efficiency and agility by implementing innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.
Oversee the full life cycle of planned data, metrics, and analytics initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans involving cross-functional teams.
Craft compelling executive-level communications and presentations that effectively convey complex data insights and strategies.
Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement, contributing to a positive and productive work environment where everyone thrives. Utilize your technical mastery to provide analysts guidance and training within the team’s core skillset including CRMA, SQL, SAQL, SOQL, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Data Quality: Uphold the highest standards of data quality and protection. Ensure adherence to control structures that guarantee the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels, promoting trust and reliability in our data-driven decisions.
Support & implement enterprise initiatives into data analytics.
What You Will Need:
Experience in a business environment – involving business analytics to solve challenging business problems, analysing and improving operations or project management
Very strong project and program management skills; demonstrated track record leading cross-functional initiatives
Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change
Ability to define, prioritize and maintain a product roadmap
Subject matter expert on enterprise information system including an awareness of data models / data structures / and data warehouses, including experience with SQL, DAX, SOQL, TSQL, etc.
Must have experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau or CRM Analytics)
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and process; experience driving requirements and delivery with SCRUM teams
Experience developing and utilizing analytics to make sound recommendations and decisions
Experience delivering and supporting B2B solution and fully understand the dynamic of people, process and technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including PowerPoint presentation development and delivery
Strong collaborator and business partner
