Overview

The Business Continuity Management Manager role is an opportunity to lead and shape the Bank's resilience strategy. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind a robust business continuity framework, ensuring the Bank is resilient and prepared for anything. This role goes beyond compliance, it is about embedding a culture of preparedness and safeguarding the future of the Bank. The successful candidate will report to the AGM, Business Continuity Management & Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the strategic direction of the Bank’s enterprise business continuity framework, ensuring it is robust, well-documented, and fully compliant with regulatory standards.
Serve as a critical 2nd line of defense, providing expert governance and advisory to Business Units in strengthening their resilience.
Lead coordination for all bank-wide BCM activities, as the central point for continuity and operations across our domestic and regional branches and subsidiaries.
Secretariat of the Business Continuity Operation Committee and Business Continuity Management Committee, when activated, including as a key liaison during crisis events, coordinating recovery and resumption efforts across the Bank to ensure swift and effective response.
Provide independent analysis and advise Senior Management on the effectiveness of our Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs).
Champion a culture of preparedness through engaging training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns for teams at every level.

Jobholder Requirement:

Malaysian citizen.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in relevant fields such as Banking, Finance or Information Technology.
Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar international credential is a plus.
8 years and above experience, with a strong background in the 1st or 2nd line role within the banking industry and large organisations.
