40Summary:
The Research Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day research compliance functions. Key responsibilities include implementing and operationalizing research compliance policies, procedures and/or job aids in alignment with current laws, regulations, and best practices; conducting research audits and supporting ongoing research monitoring (e.g., IRB, IAA); and developing research-specific training initiatives.
This position promotes a culture of compliance through audit activities aimed at identifying risks and ensuring adherence to Federal, State, and Local Regulations and Guidelines. This includes providing educational programming and tools to facilitate compliant research and collaborating with the research community to maintain high standards of practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
5 years in health care research, including 2 years in research compliance or related area
Demonstrated expertise in all areas of compliance related to health care research
Ability to obtain compliance or research certification within two years of starting in this position
