As Manager, Reporting, Data & Tools for the US & Canada territory, this role will ensure we maintain strategic focus and organizational excellence by maintaining our merchandising systems and data. This role will own preparing competitive analysis, performance reporting, executive summaries, executing critical calendar deliverables and supporting Merchandising and Key Global initiatives that directly support our Brand Objectives. Reporting to the Director, Merchandising Operations, this role will also support the implementation and maintenance of our tools and systems.

- Performance recaps, presentations and competitive analysis is clear and organized
- Key themes in business performance are identified and articulated
- Inefficiencies in reporting are optimized
- Maintain and continuously improve systems and tools.
- Inefficiencies in data & system ways of working are raised through the appropriate channels
- Line Plan Management and PLM System error rates are improved
REPORTING, PERFORMANCE RECAPS
- Own end-to-end merchandising reporting for the US & Canada cluster, including all monthly and seasonal performance recaps, line hindsights, and ad hoc business reviews
- Deliver actionable insights, build data decks used for milestone meetings, long range planning and executive leadership reviews
- Plan, organize and implement cross functional market visits with crucial Cluster Merchandising business partners
- Stay abreast of available reporting and act as territory subject matter expert for providing reporting requirements or adjustments in partnership with manager
SYSTEMS, PROCESS and TOOLS
- Manage and maintain Merch systems and associated processes for current and future systems: Assortify, Gap App, PLM
- Maintain seasonal tools: Brief, Assortment Architecture, Line Plans, Price Framework, SKU Framework & roll-up at key calendar moments, Assortment Commonality Tools
- Fully manage SKU adoption in systems, territory Line Plans and territory consolidated files & error log with Global organization
- In partnership with Director and Sr Manager of GTM, ensure territory Merchandising GTM deliverables are executed.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Merch lead in special projects and collaborations - E.g. New Store Openings, Macy's Thanksgiving Parade
- Drive US & Canada Seasonal Brief process in partnership with Merch Strategy lead
- Facilitate lifecycle documentation and alignment as needed
- Maintain product question log with Global Partners and facilitate question resolution on behalf of US & Canada Merchants as needed
- Prepare visual presentations for VP Assortment Reviews
About You
Minimum Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in planning or brand management or project management or strategy
- Knowledge of core merchandising and buying functions
- Passionate about the brand and the North America business
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Strong collaborator and experience interacting up to the VP level
- Comfortable using data to draw meaningful conclusions and articulate findings to senior team members
- Financial acumen and knowledge of retail math
- Experience in PLM or similar systems
This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $92,300 - $135,300 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
