Job Description

As the Manager, Renewable Training - Delivery you will be responsible for day‑to‑day operational leadership for a high‑volume training center, overseeing the administrative, logistical, and delivery processes that ensure every program runs accurately, efficiently, and to standard. You will blend hands‑on execution with people leadership  managing a team of Training Specialists who deliver and implement training activities related to operations, maintenance and troubleshooting across Invenergy’s fleet of Wind, Solar and/or Battery Storage. This role is ideal for a leader who excels in structured execution, detailed coordination, and building a high‑performing team that delivers a seamless learner experience. 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Directly manage day‑to‑day operations and logistical support of the training facility, including class scheduling, instructor assignments, resource allocation, cleaning and maintenance of learning labs and equipment, ordering classroom supplies, recordkeeping, communication workflows, and process adherence. 

  • Establish, maintain, and regularly revise written standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies for day‑to‑day training center operations and training delivery. 

  • Recruit, train, manage, and lead a team of Training Specialists responsible for delivery of in-person classes and hands‑on, equipment‑based learning labs; providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.    

  • Assign special projects and operational tasks to Training Specialists as needed. Monitor progress, review and provide feedback on deliverables, and coordinate final approvals. 

  • Maintain administrative ownership of training delivery, ensuring classrooms and labs are prepared, registration and enrollment activities are accurate, safety and compliance standards are met, and instructors have the resources needed for effective delivery. 

  • Maintain administrative ownership of in‑house training programs - such as New‑Hire Training, Tech Progression, and Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) - ensuring accurate documentation and record keeping, timely workflow approvals, and full compliance with program standards. 

  • Directly manage and coordinate comprehensive course-level and program-level assessment processes for trainees such as essay exams, OJT checklists, and hands-on skills and practical assessments. 

  • Approve, track, and monitor training program expenditures - including expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and coding of timecards and labor hours - and keep training leadership informed of spending and operational needs. 

  • Allocate ~25% of workload to facilitating training sessions in a primary or secondary Instructor capacity and/or auditing classes. 

  • Ability to report for work at the Center of Excellence five (5) days per week. 

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent  

  • A minimum of five (5) years of operations or training experience in power generation, energy, or other closely related industry or field of work. 

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.   

  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 2-year or 4-year degree in education, business or technical discipline.

  •  A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.    

  • Demonstrated experience in managing day‑to‑day operations and logistical coordination for a full‑scale training facility. 

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and an unwavering commitment to safety. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes on short notice. 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing education (K-12, College/University or Adult/Continuing/Professional) or corporate training programs. 

  • Working knowledge of learning management systems(Docebo, Moodle, D2L Brightspace, Adobe Learning Manager, TalentLMS, etc.) and/or training management systems (Administrate, Arlo, Training Orchestra, etc.). 

Base Pay

$113,000.00 - $139,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 10% - 40%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
