We're seeking an experienced Manager, Recruiting & Talent to support our talent acquisition strategy and build teams that fuel Nova Credit's growth. In this role, you'll own recruiting initiatives that directly support our business objectives, partnering closely with hiring managers and cross-functional leaders to attract top talent in a competitive fintech landscape. You'll manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions, from technical roles to go-to-market and operations positions, while developing innovative sourcing strategies and enhancing our candidate experience. Your work will make a meaningful contribution to team goals and cross-functional business outcomes as you navigate complex hiring challenges.

This is a 6-month fixed-term position, with an estimated ending of May 31, 2026.  This position may be extended or converted to a permanent role based on performance and business needs, but extension/conversion is not guaranteed. This is a remote role reporting to the Director of People & Talent.

You will be a full W-2 employee of Nova Credit with access to our complete benefits package. At the conclusion of the 6-month term, Nova Credit may offer to extend the term or convert the position to permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH, YOU'LL:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand immediate hiring needs, role requirements, and team dynamics across 3-5 active searches
  • Take ownership of your req load, building robust pipelines through proactive sourcing, Boolean search strategies, and leveraging our ATS, Greenhouse
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews, providing hiring managers with qualified candidates and clear assessments
  • Learn Nova Credit's business model, product suite, competitive landscape, and unique value proposition to effectively sell candidates on our mission
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and understand our company culture, values, and what makes exceptional Novans

WITHIN THE FIRST QUARTER, YOU'LL:

  • Own 8-12 full-cycle searches across diverse functions with measurable impact on time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate satisfaction metrics
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles, building diverse talent pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, and passive candidate engagement
  • Guide hiring managers through the interview process with data-driven insights and recommendations, influencing hiring decisions with business intuition
  • Contribute meaningfully to any active recruiting initiatives, such as employer branding projects, interviewer training, or sourcing efforts
  • Independently solve increasingly complex recruiting challenges, knowing when to escalate and when to drive decisions autonomously

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU'LL: 

  • Be a trusted recruiting partner across the organization
  • Demonstrate measurable impact on company growth through successful placements that drive team performance and business results
  • Own recruiting for an entire function or multiple business-critical areas, managing stakeholder expectations and competing priorities with strategic judgment
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to recruiting team initiatives that enhance our hiring efficiency, candidate experience, or other People Team initiatives
  • Advise on recruiting best practices, and contribute to shaping Nova Credit's recruiting culture and standards

YOUR SKILLSET:

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high-growth fintech, SaaS, or technology companies, with strong preference for candidates who have recruited for Technical (Engineering, Product, Data Science) roles and can demonstrate creative acquisition strategies for technical talent
  • Proven track record of successfully closing searches across multiple functions (engineering, product, GTM, or operations)
  • Strong sourcing skills with demonstrated ability to build diverse pipelines for hard-to-fill positions through creative and proactive strategies
  • Experience managing competing priorities and stakeholder relationships with professionalism, adaptability, and clear communication
  • Solid grasp of recruiting best practices, employment law basics, with growing depth in specialized areas
  • Comfort with recruiting tools and technologies (ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools, etc.)
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making ability with developing business intuition about hiring needs and candidate fit
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to navigate complexity, adapt tone strategically, and build positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders

$126,650 - $140,000 a year (pro-rated for 6-month term).

The above compensation range is for United States-based candidates and is dependent on individual experience, skills, education, and qualifications.

As a fixed-term employee, you will receive:

This fixed-term position ends after 6 months of employment (estimated ending May 31, 2026). Extension or conversion to permanent employment may be offered at Nova Credit's discretion based on performance and business needs but is not guaranteed. If converted to permanent employment, you would additionally become eligible for equity grants, parental leave, and flexible PTO.
