Overview:

Sentara Health is looking to hire a Remote Manager, Quality Improvement.

Candidates must reside in Virginia Beach or Richmond area. Travel will be required.

The Manager, Quality Improvement will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care through the integration of evidence-based practices, virtual care technologies, and quality improvement. The manager will perform regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with operational teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Analyze data to identify trends and root causes of quality defects; propose and implement plans of correction. Provide training and guidance on quality assurance practices and tools. Drive the development and execution of strategies to mitigate potential quality-related issues. 

Key Responsibilities 

Quality Improvement: 

  • Lead the development and execution of quality improvement initiatives across assigned service areas. 

  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and operational teams to identify, prioritize, and implement strategies that improve care quality, patient safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. 

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. 

  • Provide training and guidance on quality assurance tools, methodologies, and best practices. 

  • Present reports on program outcomes and progress toward quality goals. 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field. (Required) 

 

Certification/Licensure 

  • An active RN license in the state of practice is required for all Registered Nurses. 

 

Experience 

  • 3 years of quality improvement experience (Required) 

  • 1 year of leadership experience (Required)

  • Familiar with DMAS, CMS, NCQA
