Job Description

As Manager, Clinical Recruiting you will be accountable for the successful recruitment of Providers focused on Physician and APP recruitment.  As an expert provider recruiter, you will implement the Starling vision to ensure we are recruiting top talent that is motivated to drive change in healthcare through our multispecialty care model.  In this highly collaborative role, you will help the business grow by attracting high caliber Physician and APP talent to our model of care. You will forge meaningful relationships and collaborate with physician and operational leadership to ensure organizational provider recruitment needs are achieved. How you can make a difference 

  • Create robust search strategies that will attract our ideal candidate profiles for high volume Physician and APP searches
  • Drive industry leading performance in Physician and APP recruiting by leading relationship development and recruitment strategies that will contribute to the long-range hiring needs of Starling
  • Work against tight deadlines to ensure successful hiring of clinical talent, always with a focus on innovation and increasing efficiency
  • Facilitate an excellent experience across all touchpoints for both candidates and interview teams and ensure our recruiting process incorporates our values
  • Keep current of new state and federal regulations or accreditation standards impacting recruitment and hiring practices
  • Build and maintain an active network with residency programs, physician associations and physician leads across markets through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management to develop and strengthen relationships at regional and national levels to distinguish Starling as an employer of choice for physicians and APPs
  • Excellent knowledge and proven execution for innovative position promotion and sourcing for  quality candidates utilizing your skillset, tools, attending career fairs as well as identifying other opportunities to attract new talent to the organization
  • Ability to implement and influence changes as needed, relating to recruitment strategies, process or workflows to increase the ability to attract physician talent

  • Directs and leads the recruitment of physicians to meet the needs and goals of the organization and ensure the hiring of qualified candidates
  • Continuously assesses physician and APP recruitment needs and outcomes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment strategies
  • Leads provider recruitment interview and hiring process, tracks and reports on progress and candidate statuses
  • Analytical thinking that allows you to distill information for stakeholders and team members at an operational level to effect change
  • Exceptional people skills with proven success in bringing together stakeholders from different departments to collaborate on opportunities and achieve overall goals and objectives
  • Strong work ethic and experience performing under pressure with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, consistent follow through, and ability to thrive in our fast-paced recruiting culture
  • Solution oriented with a willingness to identify problems and be accountable for discovering and implementing options for resolution
  • High emotional intelligence, the ability to forge meaningful relationships, and success navigating diverse stakeholder groups
  • A keen sense of personal accountability for delivering individual and team results
  • Experience performing under pressure with a sense of urgency, attention to detail and following through on your commitments.
  • A passion for being hands-on in problem-solving and execution of resolutions
  • An ability to gain trust through effective and transparent communication

Experience to drive change 

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting providers
  • Excitement and passion for healthcare
  • Experience with Workday or other system, including posting the position and ensuring accuracy of job profiles and hiring process
  • Ability to quickly gain credibility and establish the required relationships to influence and generate results; quickly influence market partners to take action
  • Possess a reputation for confidentiality, discretion, integrity, responsiveness, priority setting and the ability to make complex and time pressured decision making with a high degree of accuracy   
  • Bachelor’s degree required

This is an exempt position with the salary range of $111,000 - $115,000
