Drives the priorities and performance of the Protection, Automation, and Control (PAC) Asset Management function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering enhanced asset reliability, data integrity, and operational excellence.
Oversees the development and enforcement of engineering standards, cybersecurity compliance, and lifecycle asset strategies to optimize cost, risk, and performance across PAC infrastructure.
Promotes cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-making by advancing PAC data governance frameworks, business intelligence tools, and long-range financial planning to support organizational objectives.
Leads and develops a team to achieve departmental goals and support employee growth.
Monitors performance and provides feedback to drive accountability and improvement.
Implements strategies and manages resources to meet operational targets effectively.
Manages and develops team members to build capability and improve collaboration, resulting in higher engagement and productivity.
Develops and manages departmental budgets to allocate resources effectively and meet operational targets.
Defines and monitors departmental KPIs to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Leads, models and ensures consistent application of policies and regulatory standards across teams to support ethical operations and mitigate compliance risks.

Additional Job Description:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
5 to 8 years of experience related to protection systems, automation, SCADA, electrical substations, or electric asset management with at least 5 years' overseeing employees directly, leading teams, budgets and projects.
Licenses / Certifications:
Professional Engineer license issued by the Puerto Rico Examining Board for Engineers, Architects, Surveyors and Landscape Architects is preferred.
