POSITION SUMMARY:
Overall responsibility for all construction activities and construction resources for oversea A&A projects. Lead and manage a multi-skilled and multi-national construction management team. Manage construction operations of contractors, sub-contractors and specialist contractors for the project construction, MEP services, interior fit-out and entertainment related attractions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, manage and co-ordinate the site works
- Organise and co-ordinate the resources of contractors, subcontractors and direct contractors
- Contribute to the preparation of tender documents and participate in the review of tender submissions.
- Study drawings to determine appropriate construction methods.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to subordinates
- Ensure contractors are following the site construction programme
- Inspect site to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Keep up date reports of the site progress
- Develop and implement quality control programs.
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
- Confer with senior managers, contractors, and labour relations team to discuss and resolve labour issues such as work permits, complaints, and disputes.
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays on site, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out and corrective measures are devised and implemented
- Ensure all construction works comply with the specifications
- Daily liaisons with contractors
- Daily reporting to the Construction Director
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Expansion and A&A projects in City of Dream and Macau Studio City, and oversea projects

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree / Diploma in Building / Civil Engineering
- Minimum 20 years' relevant working experience with at least 15 years in managerial level
- Recognized qualifications of Member of CIOB or HKIE is preferred
- Oversea project experience and previous experience of casino / gaming projects is a must.
- At least 10 years relevant work experience on large scale construction projects
- Strong leadership, good interpersonal and communication skill.
- Excellent English speaking and writing is a must
