We are seeking to hire a Manager, Program Cost Controls individual contributor position within the Largo, Florida Operations Finance team. This team transitioned to Collins Aerospace Mission Space SBU and this role is created by a new major contract award within the Resilient Connectivity Products group. 

This is a high profile, very demanding program role with multiple tasks and potential interfaces with multiple sites.  We are looking for an individual with very strong manufacturing/MRP acumen who can drive project excellence in areas of Earned Value, baselining, Estimates at Completions and forecasting.  Applicants should possess a passion around program execution, finance learning and higher level problem solving by coordinating resolutions with the appropriate functional resources.

Remote: This is a remote-based position supporting our Largo, FL location.

What You Will Do:

Provide Operations cost, schedule, funding monitoring & analysis support to the Program team & management, utilizing standard company tools, & in compliance with standard processes to include:

  • On-time financial maintenance & reporting for new and existing work, Estimates at Complete, R&O Management, Variance Analysis reporting, Interorganizational Transfers & associated work authorizations

  • Lead PRISM/APEX Earned Value Management cost/schedule control, provide analysis, & support baseline change management

  • Monitor and manage costs & manpower weekly & charged to correct end objective within scope & funding

  • Partner with Ops & PMO cross functional teams to influence decisions in successfully executing the production contract

  • Support program/supply chain forecast & Short Range Outlook (SRO) tracking

  • Accommodate unexpected events, achieve critical deadlines with quality results and perform as a flexible team member in support of the objectives and initiatives of the business

  • Tactical & strategic Operations Finance program execution

  • PRISM & PMX Earned Value from baseline thru contract closeout

  • Comprehensive PRISM EACs and R&O analysis

  • Interface with multiple locations/time zones

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Financial acumen and analytical critical thinking. Excellent ability to summarize findings and organize analysis for customers

  • Systems Skills (SAP & APEX/PRISM preferred) and experience working and retrieving data from databases

  • Excellent communication, adaptation, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to present and communicate with all levels of peers and management, including executive mgmt

  • Emerging team environment will require ability to create and or navigate new processes and unplanned events

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment where the successful candidate must balance multiple competing priorities

  • Ability to work with Virtual tools and thrive in a virtual team environment

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Extensive manufacturing/MRP experience in aerospace & defense industry

  • Demonstrated ability to influence & lead cross-functional teams

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), & Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
