Role Overview
The Manager, Professional Services O&PS Managed Services is a technical executive responsible for the successful deployment of our solutions to large-scale asset owners and government entities who have engaged with Managed Services. They manage a high-performing team of dedicated consultants, who translate complex public sector requirements into technical realities with specific accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Oversight: Serve as the escalation point on solution design. Ensure that technical configurations for customers are scalable and align with industry standards (Digital Twins and Asset Management).
Technical Risk Management: Identify potential technical "dead ends" or custom code risks early in the lifecycle. Lead the technical "Blueprints" and "Technical Readiness" reviews.
Product-to-Service Loop: Act as a liaison to the Product team, advocating for features that reduce technical implementation friction and eliminate the need for custom workarounds.
Compliance & Security Standards: Ensure all technical deliveries meet stringent Public Sector requirements, as well as regional data residency laws.
Team Leadership: Hire, coach, and mentor a team of managed services consultants. You’ll be responsible for their professional development and ensuring they hit utilization targets and project timelines as well as other leading indicator KPIs.
Skills Gap Analysis: Regularly assess the technical competencies of your delivery team and partner with the Enablement team to fill gaps in internal tech advancements as well as emerging industry tech.
Risk Mitigation: Identify systemic risks in the delivery process and implement mitigation strategies to protect customer experience.
Requirements:
Experience and Strategic Leadership: 3+ years in Professional Services, with at least 1 year specifically leading technical delivery for Public Sector or Institutional Owner accounts.
Deep Technical Domain in Asset Management: Expert knowledge of COBie, IFC standards, and the integration of BIM data into operational maintenance systems.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of the O&PS P&L, including the nuances of managing high-margin technical consulting within fixed-price government frameworks.
Security Clearance & Compliance: Familiarity with government procurement cycles and the technical security audits required for public infrastructure projects.
Systems Expert: Proficiency in PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools (e.g. Kantata) for tracking billable hours and resource skills.
Legal/Contractual: Experience reviewing Government Request for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or Information Systems.
Travel: Ability to travel as needed domestically to support customer and project needs.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
