Prepaid is one of Mastercard's fastest-growing portfolios. As a versatile product platform, Prepaid covers various use cases, from basic gift cards to BaaS fintech platforms and travel multi-currency programs, still offering vast untapped opportunities. Additionally, Prepaid fosters financial inclusion by digitizing government disbursements, humanitarian aid, and enabling digital payroll access for the underbanked.
The Manager, Global Prepaid Product Management, will support the development and execution of key verticals/use cases within the global prepaid product line (e.g.: Payroll, Social Disbursements, Transit). This role will build prepaid knowledge and focus on key consumer segment needs to deliver priorities in alignment with global and regional strategies. The Manager will collaborate closely with regional partners to prioritize, execute, and inform a cohesive go-to-market plan.
Role:
• Drive product management execution on key prepaid verticals and use cases in collaboration with regional teams and cross-functional partners.
• Foster global innovation by developing new prepaid offerings, product features, and enhancements. Utilize Mastercard's assets and consumer insights to create innovative solutions and services.
• Analyze data to identify and capitalize on underpenetrated programs and product lines, capturing untapped opportunities.
• Help regions in leveraging global best practices for prepaid product positioning and regulation. Align prepaid solutions across channels into a consistent value proposition for consumers.
• Assist regional and sales teams in pre and post-sale customer meetings with in-depth prepaid product knowledge to identify and implement solutions.
• Assume ownership of end-to-end strategic projects, executing and monitoring results to ensure accountability and successful implementation.
All About You:
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with a proven track record in strategic project/product management
• Experience in product management, planning, strategy development, and implementation of segment and product solutions. Skilled in translating strategies into product execution and implementation plans
• Strong analytical skills for deriving product insights from data and staying updated on market trends
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders across a matrix organization
• Strong execution skills; self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively; adaptable and creative in a dynamic environment
• Background in financial services and/or the card industry, especially in the prepaid sector, is a plus
