Curriculum Associates

Manager, Product Management

IN KA Prestige Tech Park Full time

At Curriculum Associates, we believe in the potential of every child and are changing the face of education technology with award-winning learning programs like i-Ready that serve a third of the nation’s K–8 students. For more than 50 years, our commitment to making classrooms better places, serving educators, and supporting accessible learning experiences for all students has driven the continuous improvement of our innovative programs. Our team of more than 2,500 employees is composed of lifelong learners who stand behind this mission, working tirelessly to serve the educational community with world-class programs and support every day.

The Manager, Product Management will manage a group of product managers aligned to various functional areas of the i-Ready software product while also serving as the site manager for a cross-functional product management group. In this dual capacity, the role will both lead product strategy and execution for critical internal tooling that supports district Student Information System (SIS) and data integrations, and oversee the coordination, culture, and operations of the site to ensure alignment across the software product managers.

As a product management leader, this individual will work closely with engineering, design, and research teams to deliver solutions that help educators by ensuring that student and class information is secure, accurate, and seamlessly reflects SIS data. They will play a pivotal role in shaping priorities, coordinating dependencies, and driving delivery of the evolving technology platforms that underpin Curriculum Associates’ flagship product, i-Ready.

As a site manager, the individual will foster a cohesive, high-performing environment that enables local teams to execute effectively. Responsibilities include facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and practices, supporting talent growth and engagement, and representing the site’s perspective within broader technology planning and communication forums.

The Manager, Product Management and Site Lead will develop a deep understanding of educator and platform needs, communicate product definitions and priorities to cross-functional teams, and collaborate with engineering partners to deliver secure, scalable roster and data-integration solutions using industry standards and leading third-party platforms. They will synthesize feedback from educators, standards bodies, and internal stakeholders to continuously refine and advance our platform capabilities.

This role requires a creative, collaborative problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing the strategic leadership of product direction with the operational and cultural stewardship of a local site.

The impact you’ll have:

  • Manage the organization, prioritization, communication, refinement, and delivery of end user–facing and internal tooling and capabilities for the platform, while also overseeing local site operations to ensure coordination, collaboration, and alignment across the software product managers.

  • Drive product design and execution end-to-end, working with leadership, product management, architecture, engineering, design, and other subject matter experts, and serve as a site leader who fosters a high-performing, inclusive culture that supports collaboration, professional growth, and delivery excellence.

  • Research internal and external user needs and synthesize them into a coherent vision and set of user goals; scope and design creative solutions; articulate and prioritize detailed feature definitions; support development processes; and collaborate with go-to-market teams to deliver features to educators—all while ensuring site teams are aligned, informed, and equipped to execute efficiently.

  • Translate product vision into an actionable plan for engineering by breaking roadmap features into epics and user stories, defining requirements and acceptance criteria, and supporting scrum teams through sprint and quarterly planning and refinement ceremonies—balancing product delivery leadership with the operational coordination responsibilities of a site manager.

  • Collaborate with product, design, and user research teams to define new user interfaces and product flows that meet educator reporting goals and ensure a cohesive product vision, while promoting cross-functional knowledge-sharing and communication within the site to drive alignment and efficiency.

  • Effectively present product plans, ideas, and designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders for feedback, and represent site-level progress, challenges, and successes in broader organizational forums to ensure transparency and advocacy for local teams.

  • Define and monitor appropriate product usage and interact regularly with internal stakeholders and educators to analyze product feedback, build product knowledge, and continuously improve outcomes—while also monitoring site health, engagement, and operational effectiveness to ensure sustained team success.

  • Stay abreast of trends, key issues, competitors, applicable standards bodies, and partner offerings, and share insights across site and product leadership teams to guide long-term planning, innovation, and alignment with Curriculum Associates’ strategic direction.
