Manager, Product Management, Business Identity Commercialization
Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.
Mastercard Identity, within the Security Solutions organization, leads the development of products and services that enable global commerce, power financial inclusion, prevent crime, and make some of the most seamless experiences possible. As part of Mastercard Identity, the Business Identity team drives the development and management of products, programs, and services focused on risk assessment and business entity verification. The team delivers significant value across the ecosystem, helping to combat new fraud and ensure secure commerce across the network.
The Manager of Product Management, Business Identity Commercialization, plays a pivotal role in Mastercard’s business identity team by contributing to the development of scalable, interoperable solutions that enable businesses to be securely identified and trusted across digital ecosystems. This role is responsible for supporting the execution of commercialization and pricing strategies by translating strategic objectives into clear business cases, pricing inputs, and execution roadmaps.
The Manager works closely with senior product leaders and cross‑functional teams—including engineering, data science, finance, commercialization, and legal—to help define requirements, support pricing and packaging decisions, and ensure products are market‑ready. Through financial analysis, value articulation, and launch execution, the Manager helps deliver Business Identity solutions that improve onboarding outcomes, mitigate fraud risk, and achieve commercial objectives aligned with Mastercard’s Business Identity strategy.
The Role:
• Support execution of product commercialization plans by translating defined product strategy and value propositions into launch plans, pricing inputs, and readiness deliverables
• Partner with senior product leaders to develop pricing recommendations, including fee structures, packaging options, and market‑specific adjustments, informed by value and competitive inputs
• Build and maintain business cases, financial models, and ROI analyses to support pricing decisions, investment approval, and leadership reviews
• Collaborate closely with Finance to align revenue forecasts, cost assumptions, and margin considerations for products in development and commercialization
• Contribute to go‑to‑market execution, working cross‑functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Risk, and Regional teams to support launches
• Assist with commercial constructs (pricing tiers, bundles, terms considerations) and document rationale for internal alignment and approval
• Support launch readiness activities, including documentation, internal enablement materials, and dependency tracking to ensure products are ready for market
• Monitor post‑launch performance (adoption, revenue, customer feedback, KPI trends) and surface insights or risks to senior product and commercialization leaders
• Perform market and competitive analysis to inform pricing discussions, value positioning, and backlog prioritization
• Prepare clear, executive‑ready materials (summaries, slides, FAQs) to support Product Council, leadership updates, and regional pricing conversations
• Partner with Sales and regional teams to support pricing and value enablement, helping ensure consistent understanding of product value and commercial intent
• Assist with product lifecycle management post‑launch, including enhancements, pricing updates, or market expansion activities
Al About you:
• Experience in Product Management, Commercialization, Pricing, Strategy, or Finance, with demonstrated involvement in launching and scaling products
• Experience in business case development, financial analysis, pricing, and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and influence people of a diverse range of backgrounds
• Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to establish credibility and strong relationships with stakeholders
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency
• Comfort with and an ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
• Working knowledge of identity, digital payments, and security landscape is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced or master’s degree is an advantage
• Ability to travel up to 15%

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
Pay Ranges
Vancouver, Canada: $121,000 - $169,000 CAD
