The Manager, Process Transformation - Billing & Collections (B&C) will lead a series of transformation initiatives across Billing & Collections to optimize operational efficiencies in order to reduce billing and payment cycle and drive revenue growth. S/he will both identify and drive the implementation of various initiatives, including streamlining and/or automating processes, standardizing processes, and adopting/implementing new technologies. The successful candidate will have past experience working in billing and collections and be familiar with the associated operating processes and systems.
What You Will Do:
Transformation & Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to billing, collections, and e-billing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Standardization & Documentation: Identify opportunities to implement standardized operating procedures in order to improve efficiency of team. Develop and document procedures.
Modernize Technology: Identify technology solutions which can assist with eliminating manual processes and ultimately reduce billing and/or payment cycles.
Project Tracking: Develop project reporting to measure impact of improvement initiatives.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent.
3-5 years of transformation experience and 5+ years of billing and collections experience in a professional service organization (preferably law firms).
Knowledge of key systems such as Aderant Expert, ARCS 2G, Billblast, Billstream, ODDR, various e-billing platforms and Chrome River.
Demonstrated experience in successfully driving change management and implementing transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to design end-to-end processes
Proactive problem solver with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Strong collaborator and team player with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Must thrive in a rapid-paced and dynamic business environment with a willingness to travel as necessary.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
