The Manager, Process Engineering will lead a team supporting sterile manufacturing operations within Sterile South (vial, syringe, and auto-injector lines).
A Day in the Life
- Lead ~5 process engineers
- Provide hands-on support on the manufacturing floor
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
- Support tech transfers and changeovers
- Drive process improvements and efficiency
- Collaborate with quality, operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Mentor and develop team members
Keys to Success
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related technical discipline
Experience
- 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with direct experience in sterile fill/finish operations (required)
- Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience, leading engineers or technical teams in a manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Troubleshooting manufacturing/process issues on the floor
- Root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Experience supporting tech transfer, changeovers, and new product introductions
- Experience partnering with operations to drive process improvements, efficiency gains, and performance optimization
- Exposure to equipment capabilities, line performance, and manufacturing constraints within sterile environments
