Job SummaryThe Manager of Process Engineering is responsible for leadership and oversight of NIPSCO's Predictive and Performance Engineering. This position will develop, implement, and oversee Generation Engineering processes that ensure successful execution of NiSource and NIPSCO Electric Operation's strategic goals.

Leverage and optimize industry leading tools and technologies to create, effectively manage, and optimize our Process and Performance Engineering program
Manage and oversee the development of predictive asset evaluations including risk identification, repair strategies, budget and schedule. This includes creating a live tracking document known as an asset health matrix for all major equipment across our generation portfolio.
Benchmark with other utilities and industry professionals to build annual KPI targets, narrow down options and inform leadership of solutions to effectively achieve or exceed these KPI objectives.
Generate and assist in mitigative actions plans for events that drive our performance relative to our KPI’s.
Actively engage with the teams and leadership to ensure our KPI’s align with the industry and corporate strategic visions and goals.
Aggregate and consolidate data and information to present to leadership in a concise and straight forward format to drive key business decisions and financial activities. Work with leadership teams to develop and drive internal alignment on asset-level strategy and determine annual objectives.
Provide timely, relevant, and quantifiable information to Directors and Vice Presidents to assist them with balanced decision-making regarding risk management and financial opportunities
Creates and ensures compliance to schedule and all tasks that role up within schedule.
Ensures all NEC, NFPA, AWSD1.1, federal, state, and other applicable codes and regulations are followed during the repair, replacement, and operation of station equipment.
Communicates and leads discussions of activities with all internal and external stakeholders (Site Managers, Engineers, Contractors, Planners, Project Managers and Schedulers, etc).
Develop and implement new processes and procedures for Process and Performance Engineering.
Provide concise and timely updates to leadership and occasionally represent your functional areas when presenting to executive level leadership.
Ensure resource decisions and tasks are backed by data and justified by value added benefits to the organization.
Support the the Financial Planning Process by means of being an active participant in Fossil Asset Management (FAM), Continuous Improvement, and O&M working sessions.
Liaise between the company, contractors, and all other local stakeholders for all generation assets.
Act as an advisor on at least one utility industry group (such as EPRI, EUCG, etc) Required Qualifications For PositionBachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in related field such as Business/Engineering or Engineering Technology or other related field from an accredited university or college 7-9 years Experience in one or more of the following: predictive maintenance, project management, operations, maintenance, engineering and legal/contractual. $129,500.00 - $194,300.00
*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
