Job Description

Job Title: Manager-Pricing
#LI-Onsite
Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop pricing strategies for new launches, balancing global guidance, affordability, and local regulations.

  • Innovate pricing models for emerging channels, payers, and patient access programs.

  • Identify pricing opportunities for in-market brands with therapy area teams.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Public Affairs for alignment on pricing strategies.

  • Lead negotiations to secure optimal pricing agreements and resolve issues.

  • Ensure full NPPA(National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority) compliance, including quarterly filings and responses to notices.

  • Chair monthly Pricing Governance meetings to align on proposals impacting net price.

  • Act as single point of contact for global pricing projects and patient access initiatives.

Role Requirements

  • Strong understanding of India’s healthcare system and drug regulatory environment.

  • Minimum 2+ relevant years of experience into pricing, preferably from pharma

  • Proven experience compiling reimbursement dossiers for market access.

  • Ability to interpret and communicate scientific and economic concepts clearly.

  • Demonstrated negotiation and analytical skills to drive pricing outcomes.

  • Familiarity with pricing and reimbursement listing processes.

  • Skilled in stakeholder collaboration across cross-functional teams.

  • High standards of operational excellence in compliance and governance activities.

Desirable Requirements

  • Advanced degree in economics, health economics, public policy, or business.

  • Experience with managed entry agreements and commercial contracting in the Indian market.
