The Manager of PGS Recognition and Innovation will drive recognition and innovation programming, mindsets, and behaviors across the Pfizer Global Supply division. This role manages global programming and advances an innovation and recognition focused culture for a global division comprised of 30K colleagues. This role provides division wide project management, implements continuous improvement initiatives, celebrates and role models Pfizer’s values, and collaborates with numerous teams to deliver business goals and efficiencies. Success requires agility, a solutions-driven mindset, and the ability to translate business needs into effective actions and business outcomes.

We are seeking a skilled leader who can manage multiple priorities, apply best practices, and organize effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate works independently, as well as collaboratively across a large team network, and exercises sound decision-making.

What You Will Achieve

  • Leverages project management skills to support Recognition & Innovation

  • Establishes processes and tools enabling consistent execution of projects to drive efficiencies resulting from highly organized strategic planning

  • Collaborates and cultivates relationships with the team, and key partners across several business units, regions and departments

  • Forward thinking proactive mindset with the ability to organize several high-level projects at the same time

  • Fosters leadership and continuous improvement methodologies, leveraging innovative ideas to drive a positive inclusive culture

  • Execute events and activities in alignment with the budget

  • Lead projects in support of PGS to strengthen our reputation and inspire colleagues making Pfizer a great workplace for all

  • Leads project organization and content management for Recognition & Innovation and communicates effectively through written and verbal communication channels

  • Develop structured, fit for purpose ways of working to support highly visible initiatives

  • Maintain, update and curate websites that support all materials ensuring accessibility, currency, and efficient use by stakeholders.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience 

  • Strong Microsoft, Program Management, organizational and administrative skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with leaders, colleagues, partners, and customers

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise decision-making

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve organizational goals

  • Experience in preparing creative and targeted presentations for specific audiences

  • Creative thinker, with experience in innovation methodologies and recognition behaviors

  • Ability to work effectively across functions and levels and to manage multiple projects against tight deadlines, under pressure, and within budget

  • Strong analytical skills to assess information, draw conclusions and recommend improvements

  • Responsive, professional, and courteous demeanor in all interactions, aligning with Pfizer’s values

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $96,300.00 to $160,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
