Job description
The Manager, Performance Measurement – Global Invoice to Cash (I2C) is a front‑office global analytics leader responsible for converting I2C performance data into clear, decision‑ready insights through strong storytelling, user experience (UX) design, and disciplined KPI governance. The role owns the I2C analytics demand intake, shapes and prioritizes questions based on business value, and manages a portfolio of dashboards and insights (including rationalization of low‑value reporting). The Manager provides lightweight portfolio management, coordinating analytics initiatives and partners closely with I2C stakeholders (GPOs, finance leaders, finance centers) to define KPI intent and interpretation, and with Analytics Infrastructure to ensure trusted, scalable, user‑centered insights that are embedded into Global Finance Operations operational excellence. This is a highly collaborative, strategic role with significant cross‑functional visibility and influence across Global Finance Operations.
What will you do:
Drive KPI governance for I2C (intake and intent to targets to interpretation to certification to cataloguing)
Facilitate KPI governance with stakeholders: define intent, targets, and interpretation; support prioritization decisions for enhancements vs. insight‑only requests.
Partner with stakeholders through KPI certification (sign‑off) and ensure KPIs are documented for reuse.
Own I2C insight delivery and decision readiness (front‑office)
Translate stakeholder questions into clear analytical problem statements and decision needs; ensure insights are framed for action.
Interpret KPIs to generate insights and validate that insights are suitable for use in performance conversations.
Embed insights into global finance operations invoice to cash activities to drive action, not just reporting.
Lead dashboard UX, narrative, and storytelling (portfolio ownership)
Define dashboard UX, layout, and decision narrative; design executive and workstream dashboard experiences that make performance clear and usable.
Own performance storytelling and narrative—turn analysis into recommendations and actions.
Manage the I2C dashboard portfolio: curate, standardize, and retire low‑value dashboards to reduce noise and improve trust.
Partner with Analytics Infrastructure (build/run) while owning the “what and why”
Provide clear UX and requirements to support back‑office build: data model needs, KPI logic expectations, and reconciliation requirements.
Collaborate on standard operational dashboards delivery and SLA expectations while maintaining front‑office responsibility for insight and narrative.
Support post‑production monitoring by raising business reasonable concerns and working with the back office on remediation when needed.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CPA or MBA desired is common in finance leadership roles)
6+ years of experience in Invoice‑to‑Cash / Accounts Receivable / Finance Operations (or closely related finance operations) and/or business
Strong finance and business acumen with a deep understanding of I2C and their impact on performance outcomes.
Strong analytical thinking and problem framing; ability to translate ambiguous questions into scalable, decision‑ready insights and KPIs.
Power BI UX design, storytelling and interpretation, plus decision‑focused dashboard design and visualization
Portfolio and product mindset (dashboard lifecycle discipline, rationalization, reuse)
Strong command of KPI governance (intent definition, certification, reuse standards) and the ability to facilitate governance conversations
Strong stakeholder influence and change management; ability to drive alignment and credibility through decision‑focused communications.
Working knowledge of data quality, relational modeling, and performance optimization; ability to partner effectively with Analytics Infrastructure on build/reconciliation
Preferred:
Experience in shared services or multinational environments; comfort supporting global stakeholders and time zones.
Familiarity with experimentation/hypothesis-driven analysis (e.g., A/B testing) as part of analytical rigor, in partnership with analytics infrastructure team.
