Job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manager with a strong background in Workday HCM to lead our People Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of our Workday platform to support our People & Culture (P&C) function.

Let’s talk job responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Workday People Tech team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Workday strategy aligned with organizational goals and People & Culture initiatives.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture, Finance, and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure effective integration of Workday with other systems.
  • Oversee the design, configuration, and maintenance of Workday modules, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
  • Manage Workday system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting activities, collaborating with vendors and internal IT teams.
  • Analyze People Tech processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to optimize system efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, Workday updates, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for People & Culture and end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of Workday features.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain data governance standards.
  • Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in managing Workday HCM, including implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of People & Culture processes, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Workday certification(s) preferred.
