About the role

Wellways is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager People & Culture (P&C) Partnering to lead our Business Partnering function and drive best practice people outcomes across the organisation.

This is a high-level leadership role that partners closely with senior leaders and service delivery teams to deliver an integrated, contemporary and values-aligned People & Culture service that strengthens organisational capability and supports our diverse and inclusive workforce.

Reporting to the National Manager People & Culture Services, you will lead a team of P&C Business Partners and work collaboratively across the broader People & Culture portfolio.

As Manager P&C Partnering, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of P&C Business Partners
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on people, employment and workforce matters
  • Drive consistent, high-quality people partnering practices across the organisation
  • Strengthen leader capability through proactive advice, education and coaching
  • Ensure compliance, risk management and best practice across employee and industrial relations

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic business partnering
  • People & Culture Frameworks and systems
  • Employee and Industrial relations
  • People development and capabilities
  • Partner with WHS and People Leaders to promote safe workplaces and successful return-to-work outcomes

You will also need:

  • Degree qualified with significant and substantial experience in Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management within a relevant similar industry
  • Current valid Driver’s License/100 Points of ID
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • National Police Records Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course
  • LCS2 – Wellways will supply this
