[What the role is]

As Manager (Partnerships & Programmes), you will be supporting corporate partners engagement and the 'Service to Others' Pillar under Central Singapore CDC's Better Life Model.

[What you will be working on]

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conceptualise, Strategise and Develop Corporate Partnerships

  • Co-plan and review the outreach strategy to Corporate Partners and Donors to promote giving and volunteerism within Central Singapore District.

  • Effective engagement and building of positive relationships with Corporate Partners and Donors, Grassroots Organisations and other relevant stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes.

  • Project management to implement large-scale signature programmes/events and national-level initiatives at the District level.

  • Perform proper budgeting and allocation of resources to realise optimal utilisation of resources to achieve the programme outcomes and KPIs.

  • Maintain and track corporate partners engagement e.g. donations, partnerships etc.

Support ‘Service to Others’ Pillars under Central Singapore CDC’s Better Life Model.

  • Develop and manage community programmes under the ‘Service to Others’ Pillar. These include managing donations (cash and in-kind), co-curating funding programmes with and creating volunteering opportunities for external partners.

  • Oversee the Giraffesg@Central project to encourage people to stick their necks out for the common good (comprising managing campaign & publicity, donations and volunteer recruitment).

Support all Matters relating to Central Singapore CDC’s Council

  • Provide administrative/logistical support and guidance to the CDC and its standing committees.

  • Plan and coordinate the recruitment, appointment and re-appointment of District Councillors to serve in the CDC to achieve its mission of community bonding.

  • Work closely with the Secretariats of the various CDC Committees to facilitate their engagement with CDC Chairman and Council Members. This will include working with them to monitor and coordinate the committees’ involvement in planning and implementing CDC-initiated and CDC-funded activities/projects.

  • Submit reports on the CDC Council, providing feedback and recommending changes and improvements to PA HQ, thereby facilitating communication and coordination between the CDC and HQ.

  • Planning, organization and secretarial support to activities and meetings involving the Council.

Manage, Recruit and Engage Community Volunteers

  • Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies, including outreach programmes and orientation sessions.

  • Create and maintain volunteer engagement frameworks, including recognition programmes, feedback channels, and retention strategies

  • Coordinate volunteer deployments across various community projects

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteer leaders to strengthen the volunteer network

  • Manage volunteer database and tracking systems to maintain updated records of volunteer activities and contributions

  • Plan and execute volunteer appreciation events and recognition initiatives

Develop and expand networks of external stakeholders/partners

  • Work closely with Senior Manager and Assistant Director to develop and build strong networks with external stakeholders/partners.

  • To coordinate efforts to recognize contributions and good works of partners and District Councillors.

  • Partner key stakeholders to identify community gaps and needs, develop joint collaborations and meet programme outcomes.

Other Duties

  • To work with the Senior Manager and Assistant Director to achieve Central Singapore CDC-wide initiatives and outcomes.

  • Participate in cross-team building initiatives.

  • Other ad-hoc duties not covered under main responsibilities and duties.

[What we are looking for]

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Relevant experience in managing corporate partnerships and/or managing donor-funded community programmes.
  • Prior experience in volunteer management, grant management and/or secretariat work will be advantageous.
  • Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in a second language (e.g., Chinese, Malay or Tamil) will be advantageous.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
