[What the role is]
You will be part of the Parks Facilities Management Team, which is responsible for the upkeep of facilities in public parks.[What you will be working on]
This includes managing maintenance and inspection programmes and initiating upgrading works for park facilities. Your role will also involve exploring technological integration by introducing IoT devices for park monitoring and maintenance, conducting trials of new automated systems for park management, and identifying and implementing new automated solutions to enhance park operations. Additionally, you will assist with administrative tasks related to park operations, feedback management, and the streamlining of work processes, with a focus on leveraging these technologies to improve efficiency and community engagement.
[What we are looking for]
Preferably with areas of study in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Preferably with relevant work experience in civil and mechanical & electrical (M&E) work
In-depth knowledge of regulations and standards related to civil and M&E contracts and processes
Possess good interpersonal, communication and organization skills
Able to work independently and perform a diverse range of duties, including operations, community engagement, programming, and enforcement (e.g. Parks and Trees Regulations, etc) when required
Enthusiasm for technology and its applications in park management and environmental conservation
Enjoy working outdoors and doing field works
Willing to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required
