Key Responsibilities:
Safety First
Champion a culture where safety and governance come first, ensuring all financial and operational processes align with compliance, risk‑management, and internal control standards.
Operational Performance Management
Lead rigorous performance tracking through KPI analysis, forecasting, and data‑driven insights to support operational decisions and continuous improvement.
Product Costing & Profitability
Ensure accurate product costing, maintain cost models, analyze variances, and partner with operations to strengthen cost transparency, margin performance, and financial accountability.
Process Optimization & Business Partnering
Drive process improvements across finance operations, implement scalable and standardized controls, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support strategic initiatives and cost‑efficiency programs
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional qualifications such as CIMA, BCom Honours in Management Accounting is a strong advantage.
5+ years of experience in operations finance/cost and management accounting, FP&A, or finance business partnering within a complex, multi‑region environment.
Extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly within heavy industrial environments such as steel, foundry, or related industries. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of complex production processes and capital-intensive operations.
Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and technical journals.
Strong analytical, modelling, and problem‑solving skills with proven ability to interpret data and influence senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated capability in process improvement, financial systems proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI), and a continuous‑improvement mindset.·
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
