Functional (job responsibilities)

Responsibilities

Control

Perform daily margin calls, collateral shortfall, overdue and excesses monitoring including compliance with regulatory limits
Liaise with Business Units, Operations and Settlements to ensure rectification of collateral shortfall/margin call/ force sell
Timely update of collateral movement / revaluation of collaterals to ensure accuracy in the figures reported
Daily monitoring of negative announcement on stocks and shares which are collateralized and broadcasting to relevant depts.

Credit Admin

Prepare Letter of Offer and security documentation in accordance to approved credit requests/applications.
Custodian of security documents including scanning, safekeeping and control of original documents and credit files off site
Prepare activation/ documentation requirements for loan implementation including security documentation, valuation and insurance handling.
Handle loan drawdown/ limit maintenance/cancellation/redemption including facility creation, cancellation and maintenance in V8.

Credit Reporting

Update/prepare daily reports for tracking/monitoring.
Prepare monthly regulatory and management reports including ad hoc reports

Projects

Actively support and contribute constructively to the success of inter-departmental projects such document library, new products initiation and integration, new marketing campaigns launched by various BUs.
Initiate and spearhead department projects to improve on the operational efficiency, compliance controls and processes.
Prepare test scripts and perform UAT testing for banking system enhancements and delivery.

Others

Manage/participate in ad-hoc assignments from time to time.
Assist to provide leave cover for other team member as designated by Head from time to time.
To carry out any other duties as directed by the Company Management from time to time
