Position Overview 

The Operations Acceleration and Growth manager, is responsible for driving sustained performance improvement across clinics by addressing operational exceptions, removing barriers, and ensuring execution of high-impact initiatives. This role serves as a critical extension of the Director of Operations Acceleration & Growth, translating strategy into execution and accelerating value realization at the clinic level. 

 

This is a highly collaborative, field-connected role focused on stabilizing operations, improving consistency, and elevating performance across assigned clinics. The Manager partners closely with field leaders, practice managers, and cross-functional teams to identify gaps, implement solutions, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable results. Success in this role requires strong operational acumen, a hands-on approach, and the ability to influence without direct authority. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Performance Acceleration & Exception Management: Identify clinics or operational areas underperforming key metrics and lead targeted, data-driven interventions to rapidly close gaps. 

 

  • Field Execution & Change Leadership: Partner directly with clinic and field leaders to implement operational changes, reinforce standards, and drive accountability for results. 

 

  • Performance Monitoring & Insights: Track and analyze key performance indicators, provide visibility into trends, and proactively escalate risks or gaps requiring leadership attention. 

 

  • Initiative Deployment & Stabilization: Support rollout of enterprise initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation, strong adoption, and long-term sustainability at the clinic level. 

 

  • Barrier Removal & Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose operational challenges using data and frontline insights. Deploy practical, sustainable solutions that improve performance and team effectiveness. 

 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and other support teams to align efforts and ensure clinics receive the support needed to execute effectively. 

 

  • Team Effectiveness & Capacity Management: Drive improvements while maintaining sustainable workloads, ensuring changes are practical and support long-term team engagement and retention. 

 

  • Operational Standardization & Best Practices: Ensure consistent adoption of SOPs, workflows, and tools. Identify opportunities to scale best practices across clinics to drive efficiency and consistency. 

 

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply structured problem-solving and continuous improvement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and improve clinic performance. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Hands-on leadership experience with at least 4 years of experience, with a strong focus on execution, including managing day-to-day operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring consistent delivery of results. 

  • Minimum 2+ years within the organization or equivalent experience with strong understanding of field operations 

  • Prior experience as a Practice Manager or clinic leadership role strongly preferred 

  • Demonstrated success driving operational improvements and performance outcomes 

  • Strong understanding of clinic workflows, staffing models, and operational KPIs 

  • Experience leading & championing change initiatives in a field-based environment 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights 

  • Proficiency in Excel and operational reporting tools (Core4, Workday, HUB Spot) 

  • Ability to influence, coach, and drive accountability without direct authority 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both frontline teams and leadership 

  • High level of ownership, accountability, and follow-through 

  • Hands-on, execution-focused mindset with a bias toward action and results 

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 

 

Work Environment & Travel 

  • Primarily local or market-based role with minimal travel 

  • Regular in-person engagement with clinics within assigned region
