About the Role

As the Manager, Oncology Services Coordination you'll leverage your oncology care navigation expertise, exceptional client service skills, and leadership acumen to guide a team supporting clients facing complex cancer diagnoses. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a team of coordinators while ensuring exceptional client service and highly effective operational execution across our oncology service lines.

Your experience coordinating oncology care—including multidisciplinary coordination, complex treatment pathways, clinical trial considerations, and rapid-cycle decision-making—will be essential as you collaborate closely with PHM’s clinicians and researchers to support clients through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. This is a unique opportunity to shape how best-in-class cancer care navigation is delivered in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

How You’ll Spend Your Days

  • Team Management: Lead and support a team of coordinators, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to ensure excellence in oncology-focused client service and operational delivery.
  • Client Engagement: Oversee complex client interactions involving cancer diagnoses, second opinions, emerging treatment options, and evolving care plans—ensuring personalized, timely, and empathetic support throughout the oncology journey.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Partner closely with PHM clinicians and researchers to coordinate care across oncology subspecialties (medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, genetics, pathology) and support access to leading experts, cutting-edge diagnostics, and clinical trials.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure seamless execution of oncology client services, including scheduling consultations, securing expedited reviews, facilitating tumor board–style internal collaborations, and coordinating with cancer centers, infusion clinics, and other care sites.
  • Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor and refine workflows to enhance the quality and consistency of oncology service delivery, ensuring thorough follow-up, meticulous tracking of treatment milestones, and reliable completion of all action items.
  • Strategic Input: Contribute to departmental strategy by identifying opportunities to strengthen oncology operations, elevate clinical coordination processes, and improve the experience and outcomes for PHM’s oncology clients.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Oncology Care Coordination Expertise: 2+ years of experience in oncology care coordination or supporting clients with cancer—such as work in oncology clinics, cancer centers, patient navigation, clinical research, or complex medical case management.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey clarity and confidence in emotionally sensitive situations and maintain discretion with confidential information.
  • Operational Excellence: Proven ability to manage multiple oncology cases concurrently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptionally high service standards.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Empathy, energy, and a solutions-oriented mindset, combined with deep commitment to improving the care experience for individuals facing cancer.
