Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center (AHWFBCCC) Clinical Trials is located at 1021 Morehead Medical Drive in Charlotte, NC. The Solid Tumor Clinical Trials team oversees the safe and high‑quality conduct of oncology clinical trials across disease areas including lung, breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and other solid malignancies. Under the leadership of the Solid Tumor Manager, the team partners closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure patients have access to innovative, cutting‑edge therapies while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and research excellence.
What we're looking for:
Oncology experience strongly preferred.
Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
OCN certification preferred
Certification in clinical research (SoCRA CCRP, ACRP, RAPS, or similar) preferred.
Minimum Requirement:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. RN required. Bachelor's Degree required.
Active and current BLS.
Minimum of 3 years clinical trials experience with a pharmaceutical company, Contract Research Organization (CRO), research center or equivalent required.
What you will do:
Manages multiple projects and ongoing work activities ensuring work plans and deliverables are met.
Ensures follow-up on trial subject safety matters as well as regulatory management of trials in their portfolio.
Allocates resources appropriately to meet departmental needs.
Recruits; interviews; onboards; trains; mentors and coaches; manages performance; works across teams to collaborate on recruitment process.
Communicates with teammates and manages remote training/dialogue.
