About the Role

We’re looking for a strong people leader to join our team as Manager, Onboarding. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end onboarding experience for new clients and programs, ensuring seamless transitions, reduced cycle times, and high client satisfaction. This role manages a cross-site team responsible for project management, data and inventory setup, communication execution, and operational handoffs. The Manager drives operational discipline, elevates team capability, and partners with Sales, FPS, and Operations to deliver exceptional onboarding outcomes that accelerate value realization for Element’s clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage the onboarding team in delivering wing-to-wing onboarding activities including project planning, client inventory and contact data loading, communications setup, and operational case handoffs.
  • Ensure adherence to onboarding standards, cycle time targets, and quality expectations while providing escalation support and removing implementation roadblocks.
  • Oversee client project plans from initiation through full program activation, ensuring alignment and readiness across stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Sales, FPS, and Operations to support smooth transitions and successful program launches.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding processes, reduce waste, and improve overall client experience.
  • Hire, coach, and develop team members to build strong project management, communication, and change leadership capabilities.
  • Represent the onboarding function as a subject matter expert in enterprise initiatives, technology implementations, and workflow modernization efforts.
  • Monitor onboarding performance metrics and use insights to guide decisions, coaching, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience or 5+ years of cross-functional project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent client projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven success facilitating cross-functional discussions and influencing change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fleet, automotive services, logistics, SaaS, BPO/contact center, or professional services environments.
  • Experience using project management and workflow systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-site or distributed teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.

Current Location: Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 – $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
