We are seeking an individual with a track record of strong leadership, compliant execution, and a winning mindset to join the Neuroscience Sales Strategy & Operations team to support the continued success of the launch of Cobenfy. This role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence across our organization at a national level.   

In addition to national-level responsibilities, this individual will partner with the West Region Sales Leadership Team to pull-through business-related functions by providing dedicated in-region strategic and operational support to help enable execution excellence and ensure execution is aligned with broader national strategy. The selected candidate will have a high level of exposure to senior sales and marketing leadership across our business unit and will be a key member of the Sales Strategy & Operations team. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, sales, and sales operations within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

This position will report directly to the Director, Neuroscience Sales Strategy & Operations and have a dotted line reporting relationship with the West Region Business Director (RBD).

Even more specifically, the successful candidate will excel at:

National Level

  • Operationalizing, executing, and stabilizing strategy work across teams and systems
  • Developing field communications and sales system training resources
  • Leading field communication (weekly Newsletter, stand-alone comms, Culture Connection) and change management efforts, working across the S&O team to ensure alignment
  • Driving all national-level ad-hoc reporting for team consumption and addresses reporting requests from Director of Sales & Operations and/or sales leadership
  • Maintaining field ride calendars with Manager of Regional Operations consultation
  • Supporting planning for sales meetings (e,g, launch meetings, POAs, and Start Strong/Fast Starts, etc)

Regional Level

  • Acting as a strategic partner for RBD, by providing strategic support through data analysis/insights sharing to inform regional execution, as well as RBD meeting support (Friday LT calls/POA/Start Strongs, etc)
  • Working with RBD on tailored pull-through of national strategy through in-region expertise
  • Providing recommendations to improve regional sales performance through proactive analysis of region, district and territory performance.  This includes, but is not limited to business analytics, sales messaging, strategy and tactical planning.
  • Collaborating with the West Region Sales Leadership Team, on the development and execution of the regional business plans and the business review process
  • Addressing high-impact strategic and ops-focused questions from field leaders (working with Associate Director of Field Operations to prioritize per brand and sales priorities)
  • Contributing subject matter expertise and/or managing operational support of field-based systems (e.g. OneLook, Veeva/InterAct, customer alignments, Call Planning Process, e-Roster, HCP Connect, MS Teams, FCR, SharePoint, Workday, MyBMS, Survey’s, etc.).
  • Partnering with the home office operations teams and necessary functional areas to troubleshoot regional operational issues (e.g. relevant BMS systems and resources). 
  • Driving system enablement in collaboration with Associate Director of Field Operations (e.g., identify areas of training or system comms needed)
  • Providing regional informs through “Ops Corner,” in collaboration with Associate Director of Field Operations
  • Managing Technology Ambassador Point (TAP)/Field Input Team (FIT) support for regions
  • Supporting operational excellence by informing regional budgets and resource logistics
  • Managing the CLARITY inquiry/resolution process as needed for the sales team (e.g. triaging and following up on Clarity/ServiceNow tickets, ad hoc requests from home office and field, tracking People Services and Help Desk Tickets, etc created by the sales team).  
  • Assisting with the new hire on-boarding process as it relates to operational, analytical systems and business processes.
  • Working with the Leadership Team to roll out the annual Contributions setting and Year End Calibration/Performance Review process

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant commercial experience being highly successful across multiple roles (e.g. Sales Operations, Sales, Field Force Effectiveness, Sales Training, Market Access, Marketing) with preference for significant experience in working in/with a field force
  • Strong business acumen skills to support sales force business models to meet evolving needs
  • Well documented examples of strong leadership, strong compliant execution, and a winning mindset.
  • Ability to think and communicate strategically, effectively, and clearly
  • Well documented examples of strong leadership, strong compliant execution, and a winning mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on sales objectives with a track record of strong sales performance
  • Experience with Neuroscience customer base and market industry knowledge preferred (but not required)
  • Demonstrated experiences partnering with Sales Leadership (e.g. DBMs) to support the execution of approved brand tactics, onboarding of new representatives, and assisting with training sales skills, business planning and product knowledge.
  • Successful experience working with matrix team to accomplish business objectives
  • Demonstrated experiences partnering with leadership to develop and execute brand strategy
  • Ability to impact and influence others with no direct reporting relationship.
  • Demonstrated planning and project management skills.

Compensation Overview:

Field - United States - US: $90,190 - $109,283

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
