Manager of Quality Site (F/H)

We are looking for our future Manager of Quality (F/M) for our site located in Aubagne (production of Fluid Management Technologies (FMT), +1000 employees).

Manager of a team of about sixty people including 4 direct Team leaders, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards set by the company. You develop and implement effective quality control and quality assurance systems and processes within the company and provides documentation in line with the group's overall policy.

  • Implement and maintain a Quality System meeting customer and registration system requirements

  • Manage the monitoring, measurement and review of internal quality processes

  • Ensure that all quality systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies

  • Perform corrective action investigations, determining root causes and defining corrective/preventive action measures

  • Execute internal and external audits

  • Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures

  • Establish and refine quality sign-off instructions, standards and documentation

  • Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required

What will convince us

  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering or related field

  • You have at least 5 years' experience in managing large teams in a sector of activity similar to ours: Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Pharma or that can be similar in terms of requirements and environments.

  • Hands-on individual who works closely with your teams and oriented towards global/local strategy.

  • Excellent knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards (relevant certification of quality control)

  • Complete understanding of Quality Practices and safe practices and procedures

  • Understanding of government regulations

  • Proven understanding of data analysis and statistical methods

  • Analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills

  • Planning and project management skills

  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English and French
