Maintain oversight of a select portfolio of business members to remain attuned to evolving frontline operational needs, ensuring strategic responsiveness and relevance in member engagement over the next three years.
Serve as the lead relationship manager for assigned accounts, overseeing complex account openings, onboarding processes, and loan origination, while proactively adapting these functions to anticipated industry changes and member expectations.
Drive ongoing workflow optimization and standardization initiatives across the team, leveraging emerging technologies and data analytics to enhance efficiency and scalability, positioning the department for sustained growth and adaptability through 2029.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with Business Advisors and executive leadership, aligning strategies with the credit union’s long-term objectives and ensuring that the team delivers measurable results in a dynamic business environment.
Ensure rigorous compliance with all regulatory requirements (BSA, OFAC, GLBA, NACHA etc.), anticipating regulatory shifts and proactively updating protocols to maintain the highest standards of quality and risk mitigation.
Champion a culture of compliance and continuous improvement within the team, instituting regular training, performance reviews, and process audits to support professional development and operational excellence for the future.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in business relationship management or financial services, with demonstrated success in handling complex client portfolios and driving strategic outcomes.
Proven track record of leading high-impact projects in fast-paced environments is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, overseeing teams and driving performance in a business relationship management or financial services environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field or 3 additional combined years of experience in business banking.
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
Project Management certification preferred
Managerial Responsibility
Has supervisor/managerial responsibilities that are direct and through other leaders, typically with a subordinate group of 5 or more employees and multiple organizational and cross-functional teams. Estimates personnel needs and assigns work to meet these needs. Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of assigned staff. Recommends candidates for employment, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for staff, and applies company policy.
Computer/Office Equipment Skills
Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite—including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel—with the ability to adapt to new versions and emerging productivity tools as technology advances.
Anticipated experience leveraging advanced analytical and reporting platforms to enhance data-driven decision-making is preferred.
